Sold just below BMW’s flagship 7-series, this grand tourer balances luxury and performance perfectly. And this heritage will get an even more appealing upgrade with a new 2018 BMW 6-Series.

2018 BMW 6-Series – Exterior Structuring
Expect to see a more drawn out pair of LED headlights that will result in a more intimidating outlook. Experts claim that BMW will introduce three new turbocharged power plants for its different models, namely:-
- 650i and
- M6 versions.
The standard 640i can house a 3.0-liter engine that produces 315 HP at 330 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the 650i will feature a 4.4-liter V8 that is capable of producing 445 HP with peak torque at around 480 lb-ft.
Expect M6 versions of these 2018 BMW 6-Series to come with a much tweaked 4.4-liter twin turbo engine that pumps out 560 HP at 500 lb-ft of torque.
The powertrain options can come in an 8-speed automatic, a seven-speed dual clutch automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. All models will come with four-wheel drive capabilities as standard.
Coming to EPA ratings, the new 6-Series can give around 17 mpg in cities and 25 mpg on highways.
Launch Date and Pricing
Although BMW is yet to finalize a release date, expect this grand tourer extraordinaire to make its market debut by 2018 end or even earlier. As far as pricing is concerned we expect 2018 BMW 6-Series to cost around $78,000 or more if customers go for performance versions.
