In addition to being the most powerful brand name in the SUV world, the Jeep now has the most powerful SUV as well – the 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Even though the new SUV from the venerable American manufacturer sports very little in terms of aesthetic changes, it will feature a brand-new engine. With a new engine and a small number of aesthetic changes, the latest Cherokee is poised to challenge the Mazda CX-7 and the Honda CR-V.
2018 Jeep Cherokee – Exterior, Subtle Updates and Changes
As we have already mentioned, the 2018 Jeep Cherokee will look pretty much like the previous models. The American engineers have decided to keep the familiar design and slightly update it in order to keep the pace with the closest competition. With that being said, the Cherokee will still look pretty attractive, with a nice combination of rugged looks and athleticism. When looking at the new Cherokee for the first time, one will have a hard time differentiating it from the SRT model. However, upon closer inspection, we can see some subtle differences. In the front, the 2018 Cherokee will sport a revamped bumper, but without the fog lights found on the SRT. It will also get a set of sleeker headlights, as well. In addition to these, there will also be the latest quad exhaust outlets, yellow brake calipers and a set of 20-inch aluminum wheels.
Interior Design and Equipment
On the inside, the 2018 Jeep Cherokee will once again combine traditional design ideas with modern design cues, so as to create an upscale layout. Even though this SUV is primarily focused on providing exceptional power and performance, it will still provide plenty of room as well. Thanks to the heated and fully adjustable seats, the passengers will enjoy maximum comfort and convenience. Also, since the seats are fully adjustable, the Cherokee’s interior will offer plenty of cargo flexibility.
When speaking of the materials, this 2018 Jeep Cherokee will feature lots of high-quality ones, like Nappa leather, black chrome, Alcantara suede and carbon fiber trims. In terms of the tech equipment, the customers can expect a variety of options. These will include an adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traction control, a rearview camera and more. For entertainment, there will be an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, the Alpine audio system, USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary ports.
