Volkswagen Golf is a small sized family car which is being manufactured by the German automaker since 1974. To date, seven generations of this car are released by Volkswagen, and VW Golf VIII is the eighth generation model of Golf. VW Golf VIII – Exterior and Interior Changes
Exterior of Golf VIII is expected to look more beautiful with new redesigning. The new exterior changes give the car more aggressive and sturdy look. The size of the vehicle may get reduced a bit due to the use of the new platform. Overall, the car will have a modern look. The front portion will have two headlights like its previous models, and the grille is expected to be more compact. There will be a new stylish bumper and triangular taillights at the rear portion.

The Volkswagen Golf VIII may be equipped with a 2.0-liter TDI engine having four cylinders. It is expected that this engine type will be provided in standard models and it would have the capacity to generate 230 hp. The power in wheels will be transmitted with a 6-speed transmission system. The 2.0 GTI engine makes 250 hp . The overall weight of the vehicle may get reduced to provide better fuel economy than previous models.
