Some experts hold compromise of quality for efficacy or utility to be the prime reason! Fortunately, car enthusiasts can breathe a sigh of relief as new 2018 Volvo V90 offers plenty of both.
But just like the rest is Volvo a bit too optimistic? Are they unnecessarily overconfident?

They stated that the preparations were impressive and they felt that this 2018 Volvo V90 model actually poses a great chance of succeeding.
What did they find?
- These experts noticed that the latest V90 model does not try to be a harsh or tough sport wagon-brute! Rather it is quite relaxed, soft and comfortable.
- Handling and riding experience also appealed to experts as they described it as perfect.
- Experts noticed that its suspension loads/unload effectively in turnings without much body movements.
2018 Volvo V90 – Engine Specs
Three engine options will be seen.
- The first option is the T5 which will employ 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which pumps up 250 hp and torque- 258 lb.ft!
- Other two options are T6 and T8 engine model.
- Both will get a turbocharged 4-cylinder unit as well as a 2.0-liter supercharged inline-4 which having the ability to give out 316 hp and torque- 295 lb.ft.
Plus they will also utilize an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a complete wheel drive feature. One extra inclusion will be an electric motor and a set of T8 battery. Owing to this its power train reading would notch up 472lb.ft of torque and 400 hp.
2018 Volvo V90 – Design
The latest Volvo V90 2018 comprises of a low rooftop and the car is quite long making it appear like a shooting brake. Its wheelbase measures about 116 inches and its ample width allows more space inside. Its stance is low and wide but its waistline is high. It has an alluring fascia with scalloped grille and Thor Hammer’s LED lights. It actually looks similar to the XC90 model and almost mirrors the sedan.
As for its rear, there is no boxy look of the old Volvo and its hatch will be seen having a sporty angle. The new tail lights, new glass contour and appealing neon hour glasses gives it that sexy and confident look.
The 2018 Volvo V90 driving wheels will get a nice leather coating and same applies to the seats. The dashboard design is similar to the previous models. A nice mid screen will control the functioning of the entire vehicle. An upgraded SENSUS infotainment feature will also be seen. Some noise improvements in the cabin will be noted. The riding experience will be similar in nature to the Sedan. Other new options include grime resistant carpeting and along with that, some cross country badging.
2018 Volvo V90 – Price and Launch Date
The 2018 Volvo V90 is still not sure but experts believe that it will hit the markets in the commencement of 2017 or start of 2018. Its price is expected to be somewhere in between $53,000-$62,000.
This new model is in competition with Audi A4 Allroad and Volkswagen Golf SportWagen.
